I updated to the 4.0.1.1 version in February.  After entering information from 2/17/2010 Awana night, everything was working perfectly.  However, when I began posting info for 2/24/2010, the program is not generating any awards.  The birthday list will not open on the reports page.  Can anyone help?

I am aware of a bug in the Birthday List report, but there should not be any other problems.
The usual Red and Green Jewel and Discovery Seal awards should still be generated as you enter the completed sections... are you saying that THESE are not triggering as expected?  Are you seeing any error messages?

We have awards for Cubbies through T&T.  The box pops up that says "an error occurred in the application".  If I open the bug report, at the bottom it says "Field 'Award_Name' must have a value.  Does this help?  I haven't changed anything since the update.

Rick, to answer your question, Yes these are the awards that are not being triggered.  Of course there is "no data to  display"  in the Awards report.  I also tried to run an attendance award list, but this also said  "0 clubbers are eligible for award".

Hi Marlene,
I was wondering if you were sending the error reports in or just deleting them? I have to occasionally remind my secretary to send them in and not ignore them.  Wink

Oh...I forgot to ask if you were running the Attendance Awards generator from the TOOLS in the top header bar? The Attendance Awards Report relys on this procedure.

Dave,  I have sent bug reports before.  I did not "send" this report.  I use the tools bar for attendance awards.
Thanks for responding.

Marlene, please try running the Admin > Database Utilities > REPAIR function. Exit and then restart and see if the problem is solved or not.

Rick,  I tried running the repair function and logging out. When I logged back in, I am still getting the same error message.  Don't know if this will help, but before I updated to this version, I had the same problem.  I thought the update had corrected this since everything worked fine for 2/17/10.

Let's schedule a time to do a remote support connection so I can investigate this with you. Please send an email to support and we'll arrange it.
